Go Green

Quick post as I know there are thousands of variations of a green smoothie. This is one I like to have for breakfast prepared the night before. I use the Breville blender.

· 1 Green apple

· A handful of spinach or kale

· Half a lemon

· Grated ginger

· Ice

· Honey to taste

I can’t lie and say that this is my fave type of smoothie because I much prefer sweet ones filled with berries and mango and just all tropical goodness. However it is perfect for fuelling an empty stomach and is packed full of nutrients and antioxidants to start your day off right.

The only benefit I can say I have really noticed is losing the need to snack before lunch, which for me is enough!
